I know this problem has been raised before, but I couldn't find if it had it's own topic.
Edition counts on the edition page are often wrong. Editions listed as 0 copies often have many copies.
May be related to the Counts getting messed up during combining bug.
Here is a set of abridged editions I just separated from The Remains of the Day shown prior to separation:

And here's the same set of editions after recombination into a new work:

Note: I also combined 2 free-floating 0 copy editions with the "(Abridged Audiobook, movie tie-in edition)" title.
Disclosure: I'm using brightcopy's edition page greasemonkey tool. But given how often this problem has been reported, I doubt that's the issue.

I don't think it's the greasemonkey either as I don't use it.

The Illuminatus Trilogy is likely a good work to see these incorrect 0 copy editions. Of the many, many editions of that work only ten are listed as having other than 0 copies. And the smallest non-zero number is 30. That just can't be possible.

Every time I separate anything, I click on it to make sure it is not a 1 copy instead -- otherwise it stays as 0 for some bizarre reason. Just opening it usually gets the number in sync.
Not using any scripts.
PS: And we have the other problem still going on:

Somehow I think they are both related.

I think I've solved these problems. As follows:
1. While edition counts are not always recalculated, at least they are not recalculated wrongly now.
2. All edition counts are now recalculating. Will take an hour or so more before everything's been rechecked.
3. I've added a "Recalculate editions" link in the "Advanced" section of the "Editions" page.
