I read this in high school and can not remember the name of the story and I would love to reread it. All I remember was that it was about this guy who had broken up with his girlfriend. There was a line in the book that said something like "I was no longer an authority on her." Sorry I don't have more, but it has been about 13 years since I read it in English class. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
