Has anyone heard of the word 'perspire' being used in the sense of 'dying' / 'expiring'?
In the OED it gives no such definition, but does mention 'perspire' in on sense as a 'breathing out'.
It might be possible that perspire could be used in the sense of 'breathed out one's last breath'?
