Seriously, Bradon? You're over 40? I guess nobody can stop you posting here if you really want to but I can't help wondering what the attraction is when there are so many other groups aimed at people of your own age.

The group is an age related one. Ideally you should be within the 40-49 years age range to meet the requirement. Not sure they do an under-10's though ;)

Bradon, it really is time you started reading these descriptions. Since arriving here you have started up any number of duplicate groups and posted inappropriately to several more. You have appeared to be quite baffled when people have picked you up on this but it does get quite annoying after a while when people simply refuse to abide by the etiquette of a site. Each group or thread is for a different purpose or topic and it really isn't that difficult to check where you are posting before you do so. There are already many, many groups catering to general subjects like 'What are you reading now?' and it is not necessary for new groups to be formed simply to duplicate those. This also is not a chat-room where it is acceptable to lurk all day adding nothing to a conversation besides the occasional 'lol' or 'I'm bored'. You can find out more about what the site is actually for by taking the tour - http://www.librarything.com/tour/. Unlike many very young members, you do seem to have a genuine interest in books and I feel you may eventually become a valued member here but different websites require different standards of behaviour and what may be acceptable on Facebook or Twitter isn't necessarily what is acceptable on a site that exists specifically to discuss literature in an appropriate manner and in the appropriate place.
