Do you like halloween? No matter what your age do you still dress up? What is your favorite costume?
2BradonK
Well Im 13 and my step mom sais I dont need to be going trick or treating but she said I can dress up and scare peeps with my friends in the neighborhood.... But she also said that if my friends are trick or treating then I can.... And I dont think Im too old because Last year I saw adults trick or treating... LOL... But if my friends dont go trick or treating then we are going to have a halloween party with all of my friends... NO ADULTS... Or have a concert with my band on halloween night... But I do like Halloween and I love candy...LOL... My favorite costume is Michael Myers ( He is my favorite killer )
3taz1030

BradonK: The tough thing about teenage years is learning the balance between having fun and being responsible! Though I guess it all depends on what you want to do as your career. I want to be a veterinarian so I'll have to study for a looooong time :O
19Tavaresden
Taz: I don't know much about that university but maybe if you do well enough, you'll get a full scholarship :D
20BradonK
I hope all of us does well, of course Tav. you are already in college so you are already there... But I am gonna try my hardest to go to The University of Florida..... GO Gators
21Tavaresden
I still have quite a distance to go. I need to get to medical school which requires amazingly good grades T.T
22taz1030
yeah if i get lucky that will be the only way i could go there cuz tution is 30,000 thts a bit much. i think its a private college but they dont put tht out there.
23Tavaresden
Judging by the tuition, it sounds like a private college. Well, I hear private colleges give better scholarships :D
26Tavaresden
Never too early to start preparing :)
28Tavaresden
SUNY Geneseo in New York

Wow, what's Louisiana like? I grew up in New York City and it's pretty much an every-man-for-himself kind of place. Still, you never run out of things to do!
32Tavaresden
Very busy atmosphere. There's always something happening. People can be pretty cynical though
34Tavaresden
It's busy. Everyone always has somewhere to go. I wasn't there but I was close enough to see it fall. It was pretty crazy :O
36Tavaresden
At the time, I was too young to really understand the significance of the event so I just thought it was weird. But my family and everyone else was pretty scared. A lot of people were crying when the towers went down. Before 9/11, everyone thought that America was invincible and would never get attacked. Hijacked planes or exploding buildings only happened in movies or in tv shows. But once it happened, it became a bit harder to live life normally.
38Tavaresden
It's fine. I was too young to really be affected
40Tavaresden
Nope, I was lucky. My parents work somewhere else
42Tavaresden
no they worked somewhere in queens
44taz1030
Louisiana is boring. I live in a small town its not even a town its a village but i go to school in another town. and what we call city is whats beyond the country limits. which is another small town with your normal walmart a few clothing stores fast food . to see movies we have to go 30miles away to a huge city
45BradonK
Sounds boring... I live about 20 minutes away from Charlotte, so pretty busy up here in NC
46taz1030
yeah but in towns like these everyone knows eachother so its nice. i wouldnt want to live in a big city
47Tavaresden
My college is in a rural town and I agree with you, taz. It's great being able to walk around and knowing who's who. I made more friends in the town then I did living in the city for 17 years!
48BradonK
Well that sounds cool, but its just not me... I like living in big cities.... Thats why Im moving to Jacksonville, FL... At Christmas... Jacksonville is huge!
49taz1030
well the benifit of living in a small town means you get to ride your 4wheelers on the back roads. light bon-fires in the winter without having to worry about the fire department showing up.

Well, I live in the suburbs in California, and sucks. All the houses are identical, they're all wrapped up in their materialistic lives, and nobody wants to know anybody outside of their little circles.
55ErisofDiscord
You have no idea. Everyone has new cars, and all the teens have cell phones. There's nothing wrong with that, as I think most teens of America have cell phones nowadays, but none of them are greatful for it! Their parents have bought everything for them. Heck, I know one guy who got good grades, and so his mom bought him a fricking Lexus. Geesh. There's nothing wrong with having wealth, but the kids are just so ungrateful for what their parents did to earn that wealth. Blah.
Sorry! I'll stop ranting now.
Sorry! I'll stop ranting now.
56taz1030
lol no its fine. where i live there isnt much of all of that going on nobody is extremly wealthy except for a few here and there are teens at my school who dont apreciate things but not to the extreme like you were saying
58ErisofDiscord
Nope, I'm in Northern California, languishing in the suburbs and pining for the mountains.
60taz1030
BradonK: you just want to go everywhere when you grow up dont u. ur gonna be a great traveler
63poemgirl98
For Halloween my friends and I all dress up and then we go trick or treating. We're all 14 but it's still fun to go.and if we're recalls lly bored we go hide and scare the other trick or treaters
64BradonK
Yea I agree just because we are teens doesn't mean we can't go out and have fun and get free candy....... I mean its free
65poemgirl98
I love me some free candy. I like the costumes, because they have cool ones every year. Like last year I was a gypsy, but I still got free candy:)
66ErisofDiscord
I think it's cool for teens to dress up, as long as you wear a costume. I've seen teens show up at doorways not even dressed up, and beg for free candy. Kinda rude. The dressing up is so much fun, though!
Oh, and happy Mardi Gras, everyone!
Oh, and happy Mardi Gras, everyone!
67poemgirl98
I know right, dressing up is my favorite part beside trick or treating. Happy Mardi Gras
69poemgirl98
Candy is awesome:) lol. I love trading candy with my friends.
71poemgirl98
We do it sometimes it just depends if we're in the mood and If we don't like the candy we got so we trade
73poemgirl98
I don't like anything with nuts. And I hate the candy that's supposed to be fruity but tastes like plastic in your mouth lol
75poemgirl98
No i don't know why I don't like nuts it's just gross. Lol but Twix are my favorite
77poemgirl98
I just ate a twix too lol random
79poemgirl98
Lol thanks:)
81poemgirl98
Lol, but yeah cndy with nuts is just uggh * shudders*
