I'm looking for the perfect book cataloguer. I've been looking for a while. I have a mac and that leaves 3 or 4 software titles and a couple of decent online efforts (this one included). The best one I've found for the mac is not Delicious Library—as many would think i might say—but Booxter, a cheaper and, more importantly, multi-source data scraper. It's got drawbacks (it's not as pretty, barcode scanning is worse), but I want both the book cover (Amazon's great for that) and LoC categories/numbers (only the Library of Congress will do).

Booxter lets you arrange your data sources by preference, then goes through them, using the data for each field from the top-most source that has data for the desired field.

I've been perusing my catalog on LibraryThing and, because I used Amazon as my primary import source (all books were imported from booxter xml files with ISBNs), most do not have LoC numbers. If there were a way to pull from multiple sources on import, the site would be even more amazing than it already is.

Please tell me if i'm missing something here (i'm new, after all, and it wouldn't be the first time i've overlooked something), or write with suggestions/comments.
