It's a beautiful color and I like how it looks. But black is also the color of mourning and death, and one of the maxims that I live by is "Memento mori" - "Remember that you will die." People forgot that this is only a temporary world, and none of us get out alive. It helps me to remember that one day I will die. Sounds depressing, but it's not. It's important to remember that so you make the best use of the time that is given to you.
