Hi
I remember reading a book in the school library in the 70's, it was a children's book and told the story of a group of children in WW2 who escaped the Nazis in Europe. I seem to recall them making a journey and evading capture? by hiding in a dust cart of some sort....I'm sure this is a tough one but any pointers would be appreciated,
regards

SaxonX, could it be The Silver Sword, which is also sometimes titled Escape from Warsaw? The author is Ian Serraillier.
It's one of my favorites, and I have a copy of it on my shelves.

Hi fuzzi
It looks like a very good possibility; although it was a very long time ago I don't recall the silver sword part of the story more the children and the journey....but I'm going to get this from amazon and read it anyway - I hope it is the same story as I think my son will like it too.
Many thanks for your very quick reply,
