Dont remember much, but here goes. about a girl whos bestfriend is going out with a boy. the boy is cheating on the bestfriend with the girl. The cover of the book is the boy and the bestfriend sitting side by side with their arms around each other. the boys is secretly holding hands with the girl behind the bestfrinds back.

Any idea how it ended? Setting/time (modern US, modern UK, historical, etc)? When did you read it, and was it new then? Unfortunately this is a common theme for YA romance, so the more details you can remember the more likely someone will be able to pinpoint your book.
