I read the book maybe 10 years ago, its about a girl that almost drowns while swimming bit it saved. Then she starts having weird feelings in her house. I remember that she starts to see things that aren't there like blood because shes almost like seeing the murder of a woman that was killed in the house before. For some reason I think the woman was either a maid or Spanish or something but I could be wrong. I think the spirit is calling out to her because nobody knows that she was murdered there. The girl finds old letters or pictures in one of the rooms of the house too.

I wish I could remember more but it was so long ago! I hope someone can help me!
