I'm still in the Six Duchies wrapping things up with Assassin's Quest. I am definitely going to need to read the Tawny Man books later this year.
2extrajoker
I'm out in Oregon, learning from Nina Kiriki Hoffman about The Thread that Binds the Bones.
3Aldrea_Alien
I didn't get to read as much as I would've liked last month, so I'm still in the last half of The Last Continent.
4ed.pendragon
Just spent a couple of days in Auchinmurn, located in Hollow Earth's cosmology, though it's virtually contiguous with the island of Great Cumbrae, southwest of Glasgow. (Many of you may know one of the two authors from Torchwood and Doctor Who.)

Conan and the Manhunters by John Maddox Roberts

Currently in Khirlan on Aggar in Fires of Aggar
7sandstone78
> 6 How are you liking Fires of Aggar? Both of the Aggar books are in my TBR pile.
8Morigue
I'm not finding it as fast a read as the first one. There's also not as much action in Fires as there was in Shadows, but I'm still enjoying it.

Joining Pendragon on the planet of Cloral in Pendragon: Lost City of Faar

I'm finally in Westeros with Martin's A Game of Thrones. I wanted to read this for years, but it needed the series to eventually let me start it...

In Seattle, then Oregon, now Idaho, reading Death and Resurrection. So happy that MacAvoy is writing again, after a long dry spell.
12infjsarah
I am joining the 21 other people on LT currently reading A Clash of Kings before I start to watch the series.

I am in Malazan with Gardens of the Moon

Just left Egypt in Timeless by Gail Carriger and am moving on to A Discovery of Witches after hearing good things.

Reading Blood on the Bayou by Stacey Jay

Still visiting the Fortress in the eye of time. It's a slow read but totally absorbing; the world is richly detailed and the characters are fascinating.

Out in the forest with The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place: Book III: The Unseen Guest.

I'm traveling war-torn landscapes with the clinking, clanking, clattering collection of caliginous carnies of the Circus Tresaulti in Mechanique.
21BigJoel55
avoiding being eaten, killed, betrayed, maimed, etc while enjoying A Dance with Dragons.

Finished Range of Ghosts by Elizabeth Bear. Fairly good, but to be honest something about the author's style just didn't grab me.
24Unreachableshelf
I'm with A Werewolf in Seattle.
25Sakerfalcon
Finished Fortress in the eye of time, an excellent, totally absorbing read.
26JannyWurts
# 25 Are you going on to the sequels? In my opinion, from a great start, this series only gets better!
27Sakerfalcon
>26 JannyWurts:: Definitely! I'm totally intrigued by the world and characters.
28BigJoel55
>22 majkia: ... I just love tyrion. what a great character.

Was just in England and Wales in Among Others by Jo Walton. A little light on plot and I'm not sure I believed the bits with magic and fairies. But it was totally worth it for the literary SFF references.
31Aldrea_Alien
About to delve into Carpe Jugulum. Hopefully I'll have more time to read it than I did with the last book.
32Narilka
Next I am heading to Civil War era USA with Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

Enjoying The Secrets of Ordinary Farm by Tad Williams.

I've just finished a very enjoyable stay in Tredana with Sibby in The Broken Citadel, and am now on a somewhat less satisfying journey through the Dales in my reread of Sister Light, Sister Dark.
37Sakerfalcon
Just left Kvothe back at the Arcanum, having finished The wise man's fear.

Just started Eyes Like Leaves by Charles de Lint.

# 39, Goran: Charles de Lint is one of my favorite authors. I enjoy his urban fantasies muchly.

Was in Ireland during the troubles in Of Blood and Honey by Stina Leicht. Pretty interesting world and I liked the writing. On the other hand, the narrative flow felt a little uneven. I do feel there is quite a bit of potential for this author.
42GirlMisanthrope
I am Somewhere Beneath Those Waves, a way-out-there collection of delightful short stories from the perfectly twisted brain of Sarah Monette.
43Sakerfalcon
>42 GirlMisanthrope:: I am hoping someone will get me that for my birthday. I will travel pretty much anywhere Sarah Monette wants to go!
44Cecrow
Getting an early start on my May reading project with a return to Genabackis in Memories of Ice.

Finished The Steel remains a few days ago. Fun romp, but not stand-alone so will have to pick up the sequel sometime.
Now not very far in The glass book of dream-eaters. Liking it, I think. Possibly slow for someone who'd read less quickly than I use to, with extensive scenes of travel, tailing, etc..., but quite atmospheric.

Fighting off the Ghurkish in Adua - nearing the end of Last Argument of Kings.

I'm in Bitterblue City, where Bitterblue has come face-to-face with an uncomfortable situation in the courtroom. So much for that break from paperwork to clear her head.
