After finishing Love is a Battlefield last night (loved it!), I'm going to start two things.

First, a new book, The Proposal by Mary Balogh.

Second, I'm going to start stalking the Highland Games. Who's with me? :) LOL.

Enjoy!

I finished another one today, Last Night's Scandal by Loretta Chase, last of the Carsington's Series. It was delightful, but especially good if you've read and enjoyed Lord Perfect, since this is the sequel about what happens with Lord Lisle and Olivia Wingate-Carsington. Really loved it! Now I'm beginning A Certain Wolfish Charm by Lydia Dare.

Had a great couple days off and finally, after months of picking up and putting down, I finished Orphan's Quest.

Oddly, yesterday I also read the entire book Anyone But You which was a really, really quick read. I can't even remember the last time I was able to read a whole book in one day. It was amusing as well so it left me with a good feeling which is nice.

I just finished My Dear Charlotte by Hazel Holt. This book is excellent and I highly recommend it to Jane Austen fans. It is a mystery/romance conveyed in the form of letters from a younger sister to an older sister. One can just imagine Elizabeth Bennet writing to her sister Jane. There are also elements of characters from Emma, Persuasion, Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility and Northanger Abbey.

The book was a free download on Kindle a couple of months ago. Not sure if it's still free but even if it is not, it is the best Austenesque(?) book I have ever read.
