I read a book about two years ago and for the life of me I can't remember what it was or what series it came from. I remember it was about a vampire who had almost given up on finding his life mate or soul mate. He was part of something like a vampire police force that kept the trouble makers in line. The head of the family or the "police force" had married this mortal woman and turned her immortal and then her sisters had found love with other vampires and they were either about to be turned immortal or hadn't decided about it. Anyway the woman married to the head of the "family" is trying to set up one of her sisters with the main character. Her sister owns a successful restaurant and is about to open another one. Her head chef was stolen by her business rival and she is having all kinds of problems. So her sister sends this guy over and tells her sister that he is a world class chef, but he can't cook. She finds out he can't cook but he is a great business man so he tells her he can help with her problems with the new restaurant. Everything gets back on track and they fall in love and find out they are soul mates. This book was a part of a series but I can't remember the name of the book, series or author. I thought it was the dark hunter series but after reading the first few books it didn't fit. In that series when they fell in love the vampires turned back human, but in the one I want they stay vampires and make the women immortal with them.

No, it's Lyndsay Sands. It's called 'Hungry For You'
The series is the Argeneau series, and her vampires are descended from Atlanteans, with nanos in their blood which repair injuries. However, to do this they require more blood than the host has; which is why they need to drink it.
