Are you looking for historical sources? I did a uni subject on the Myth of King Arthur and these authors came up: Wace, Layamon and Geoffrey of Monmouth.
There's Robert Wace's Life of King Arthur written in the twelfth century for example. If you're looking for a more fantasy story of Arthur, Geoffrey of Monmouth is the most famous for his mythological accounts on Arthur. For example, there is his "History of the Kings of Britain" (or Historia Regum Britanniae). It was completed in 1136.
There's also the famous "Le Morte d'Arthur" by Thomas Malory.
If you're looking for Arthurian romance, you could try Chretien de Troyes.
These are all medieval sources, you might be looking for more modern stories? For a younger reader, there's "King Arthur and His Knights" by Sir James Knowles and also "The Sword and the Stone" by T. H. White.
