Today is June 15, and the UPS man has come and gone already. I have still not received my early review book: Forgive me by Amanda Eyre Ward. The book will be released for sale in a few days on June 19th. What happened? I am on the other side of the U.S., Redondo Beach, CA to be exact. Is my book on a UPS ground delivery truck somewhere in the midwest? Will I get it before the release date?

I'm on the west coast too (Portland) and haven't received it yet. Same book. Que' sera sera.

I was supposed to get Amanda Eyre Ward's book but got Lisa See's instead (no problem there!)...I live in Northern California and just got the book on Thursday, June 14th.

Well, I got my book finally. It came by Fed Ex, not UPS. It was not "Forgive me" by Amanda Eyre Ward as I had expected, but "The River Wife" by Jonis Agee. This book has already been available in bookstores since June 10...so, my review, will not be an early review.
Looks interestings, so I'm off and reading.

My book came Fed Ex last week, was supposed to be Follow Me, I got Away instead. First a rejection message, then the correction, then a different book than I was expecting, but I still feel lucky - wish I could get free copies of them all!!!

I, too, received "Away" instead of the expected "Forgive Me." I'm half done and generally pleased. Maybe "Forgive Me" is a stinker. We may have lucked out :-)

It's 5pm on the west coast and I still haven't received my book today. UPS came and delivered something from Crate and Barrel -- my hopes were up when the truck pulled up, but alas, just some bowls or something my partner ordered. sigh.

A book came today, not the one I was scheduled to get (Forgive Me) but Away by Amy Bloom. Just started it and so far I'm in love. I liked not knowing for sure what book it was going to be, after reading that others had been surprised -- sort of like opening a birthday present.
