After womens' history month, now we march into Asian American and Pacific Islanders heritage month. Share what you are reading, and what thoughts you have on it. Fiction and non-fiction are both fine.
I should also plug the thread for April's Autism Awareness Month:

I rolled your challenge and the Reading Globally's 2nd quarter's SE Asian reading theme into a single challenge for 75'er's TIOLI and added the post for your thread there. I added the link to this thread to the TIOLI thread.
I'll be reading two at least two by Asian American authors:
--A Disobedient Girl by Ru Freeman. Freeman is originally from Sri Lanka, which is where this, her debut novel, is set. I've also preordered her I'll be meeting Freeman at the Bellingham, WA Booktopia the first weekend of June.
--The Third Son by Julie Wu. This is an LTER book starting out in Japanese occupied Taiwan during WWll, and then moves to the U.S.
