Oops. Fell off the planet for the longest period of time yet.
Will try and at least carry on till Christmas, as I can share home made Christmas gifts and not feel entirely useless.
Am reading a bit but not a huge amount!

Good to see you here anyway! Looking forward to Christmas gift photos, even if cant believe you are talking about that time of year so soon!

Does the 'every little bit' rule count if you're listening to audiobooks to help you go to sleep, and therefore listen to half an hour vaguely consciously, and another half hour in your sleep?!

LOL! It's all good, Jenny, however you want to read it -- awake or asleep (and it's amazing what the subconscious mind can process . . .)
So glad to see you back among us!

I'll certainly share photos of my creations but I doubt they'll be very good, I'm such a beginner!

I have read a couple of old favourites. No idea what number I'm on but guessing I've read about 50 for the year (yes, I'm that rubbish!) so lets start from 50.
51. After You'd Gone by Maggie O'Farrell.

One of my favourite books of all time. A true love story, depicted piecemeal across three generations.
52. A Reluctant Widow by Georgette Heyer.

I needed a small book for my handbag while in London for the day. A young Georgian governess finds herself embroiled in fast marriage, widowhood, spying, treachery and a love story with a man who drives her crazy.

Actually, I'm planning on meeting Heather and Luci on Tuesday. Do you think you could make it?

Just thought I'd share this photo of my old dog Blossom as I put it up on FB and it made me smile. Best dog ever :)

Must read some Maggie O'Farrell soon. She sounds chick-lit by name but her works are pretty well lauded and apparently anything but.
It is nice to see you back with a new thread Jenny.

Just had to stop by to say I love my new Kindle. I was so sad when my old one died but the paperwhite is amazing. And so much more user-friendly.
Have charged through 4 books in the three days since it arrived.
Still love real books though. Will stop by with some crafty pictures soon.

Jenny - nice to see you. I am not as enamoured of Kindle as you my dear but it is useful going to meetings with my Kindle Fire which everyone here thinks is a Tab and reading a chapter whilst the meeting around me is talking nonsense.
Have a lovely weekend and don't be a stranger.
