I read a book about 15 years ago that I loved and would love to find it and read it again! It was about a man (milionairre) who bids on a woman at a charity auction--he knew her when they were teenagers. They end up pretending to be engaged for business reasons and in the end, they fall in love. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it!

This sounds like Remember When by Judith McNaught.

Hi
About 6 years ago I read my 1st romance novel but I cannot remember the name of it. Its about a young native indian woman who was kidnapped by a guy who belonged to another tribe. Now this is where it gets fuzzy all I remember is she's swimming in a lake or a river and he sees her decides he wants her, claims her as his and takes her prisoner in amongst his tribe. The other thing I remember is that when it is winter his family moves up in the hills that is all.. Anyway if anyone can tell me the name of the book from my puny description I would appreciate any help I can get as I wish to read it again. Oh btw I forgot all the character's names so please don't hate!!!
Cheers
