Apparently Chris Christie is going to swamp his Democratic rival (who is? nobody ever mentions the poor sap's name?!) as well as Terry McAuliffe, the Clinton guy, is going to comfortably cruise ("Cruz"?) over this Cuccinelli in Virginia AND Bill de Blasio the most liberal candydandydate for mayor of Nuevo York is going to win too, which means it's a "GREAT day amen!" when the tea(s)e takes it in uh "the gut"?

Also a "mod" Repub now has the opportunity to be the first REALLY fat guy as prez since Big Bill Taft? (Ought Christie to grow a handlebar as Taft was also the last president with facial hair too.)

"I'm in Fat City" Lyndon B once noted; now it may be a "sign and a wonder"?...

Well the fat guy did finish first and he's on his way to 2016. I welcome that frankly as I think Christie will be willing to take on "the tea" and its current heroes, Cruz and Rand Paul, and he may well win 'cuz as Nixon noted in 1968 "Winning is a lot more fun!"

The McAuliffe victory in Virginia was not as stunning but yet a defeat for the tea as well as per the Alabama congressional contest in which a more "moderate" Republican defeated another tea backer. And I can't be happier to note that Bill de Blasio won REALLY BIG in New York -- as Harsch once noted I'll take "as far left as I can get" in this "centrist" country and in NY they went "about as fer as they can go" as the "Oklahoma!" number puts it...

I'm the only one who's said anything re Christie's reelection and "rise" to Time mag cover as "The Elephant in the Room" but I'm going to make a prediction, "for the record" as they say:

Christie will be the Republican nominee for prez in 2016 AND -- he will win.

There -- it's in print!...

Christie v. Clinton '16 ?

I think you're right, the Republicans might have a chance that way. The man's got charm.

Christie would be a shoo in for the Republican nomination if the Tea Party disappears. Will Christie be willing to make the extreme statements he will be required to make in order to pass muster with the wing nuts? They control the primaries. And both Perry and Santorum are considering running again.

What I thought in the 2012 primaries: It's always been a circus, but now they have clowns.

How can anyone take a guy named Sanitarium seriously?

How can you take a guy who thinks sitting on a sofa with a woman is wrong seriously?

When one is especially "nervous" about a what seems to be a "sexual situation" one is in good ol' Doc Freud's territory I'd say.

As a "Reform Freudian" (something like "Reform Judaism"?) I think one should USUALLY avoid severe sexual phobias (or philias?) but then, say, Jack Kennedy was sort of the male equivalent of a nymphomaniac wasn't he...
