I've been trying to change the option from 'hide' to 'show' but the save changes won't take.
I know of at least one other LTer who is having the same problem.

@conceptdawg - there is actually still a problem. Every time I close the stats page the setting reverts back to (hide).

Hmm, my pagination, dimensions, weight and volume fields have all vanished from the work page.

In addition despite the fields showing the 'Your Books' data table the values are all blank....

EDIT: 10mins later both have reappeared...

>4 avatiakh: - I'm trying to figure out why that is. It's not the case for me or others. But still investigating. I probably won't get to it tonight before I go to bed though.
>5 HenriMoreaux: - We reset the member preferences cache. My guess is that's what you saw when things went wonky for a few minutes. Please let us know if it's still strange.

>4 avatiakh: - >5 HenriMoreaux: I think this was caused by a cache glitch that we were having. If you still see issues leave me a note so that I can check it again.

Still not working for me.

If it's any help, here is my step-by-step sequence of events:

Click on Edit Profile
Click on Your Books in left hand navigator panel.
Click on Show on the pagination radio button
Click on Save Changes

The change is not saved! I can go back in the profile and see that Hide is still selected.

Some additional info - any changes that I make on the "Your Books" page are not saved. I tried changing the number of books displayed per page, the recommended viewing format, and the contents of the "D" format. None were saved.

>14 avatiakh: LOL! so true! I'm a retired IT person. They used to pay me to do this.

>15 LoisB: I've signed in as you and saved various settings on the profile pages using multiple browsers. I know this is a stupid question, but are you hitting the "Save" button on the page? The settings aren't saved automatically.

Also, are you behind a proxy server of any kind?

Heh, that was a little confusing for a moment, looked like Lois talking to herself.

Heh. True enough. Forgot to switch accounts before posting that.

Well this is interesting . . . now I can see that you were able to change it. Yay!

And, yes, I was hitting the save button :) - in fact I saw 2 Save Changes buttons - one at the top of the screen and one at the bottom - and tried them both.

I'm using Windows 8 with IE 10 through a Comcast Wi-Fi connection.

I might as well tell you that I am also one of the people who no longer see the Bold, Italic etc. buttons when adding/editing a message, and I suspect that they disappeared when I upgraded to IE 10.

Thanks for your help!

Formally assigned to @ConceptDawg so he gets it on his to-do list.
