RE: "hailelib has proposed combining the tags 14 in 14 and 2014CC."

I'm here to advocate for combination. These tags (along with 2014 CC) are what the readers in the 2014 Category Challenge group use to tag their books for the category challenges.

This is the thread where we discussed tags to use in the category challenge.
This is the thread where hailelib let us know that she proposed the tag combination.

Do you know of any other uses to which these particular tags are put, that should prevent their combination?

Thank you for considering this!

At this point, 18 are for this combination, and 25 are against it. I voted Undecided along with 5 others, as I suspected there might be something to it, but had not idea whatsoever what CC might stand for. Now I find out means Category Challenge. I think for tags that do not have an apparent meaning to them, it would be nice for the proposer to be able to write in some details of the proposal with the proposal, so that the voters could have context. I'm not sure that LT can be reworked to make this happen. {And a majority of proposals are fairly obvious (i.e. two words separated by a single hyphen can obvious be combined with the same two words (in same order) separated by two hyphens.}

For future reference, there is a thread in this group specifically for advocating a "yes" vote on a proposed tag combination: http://www.librarything.com/topic/138743

Thank you both for looking into this! I appreciate the pointer @3, as well, and now have that topic starred.
