So is anyone else in a book related career?

I know Mefi has quite a few librarians (1/3 of the admins are librarians), and have seen many folks talk about bookstore jobs, but anyone else work for a publisher? It might be interesting to see how many of us work or have worked in the books field. Found a couple of writers among our members here on LT. Met a copy editor on AskMe. Anyone else want to cop to a book job, past or present?

Formerly a bookstore clerk, then copyeditor for various publishers, presently a librarian and freelance copyeditor. ... Ever heard the expression "Don't do what you love for a living"? Heh.

Funny, the phrase I've always heard is, "Do what you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life." I am an editor, but of technical and legal books. Not the magazine or novel publishing life I had imagined. One day, one day.
