What recourse do we as citizens have, at this point in time ? I am serious....barring a huge upset in the voting booths we are kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Shameful what they are doing to this country....on our dime and using our resources.

The pot calling the kettle black.

The country needs the tiring support of many law makers and not the President alone to run the country single-handedly.
Vote a right candidate for the worthy President in the next election. Come 2016.

Wake up, your respective senators in the committees.

"The country needs the tiring support of many law makers and not the President alone to run the country single-handedly."

What does a President do when Congress changes the definition of what constitutes a "majority" and then refuses to work with him ? Sit on his duff or do what he can ? What would a true "leader" do ?

The government isn't going to work until money is taken out of the equation. White men are no longer the majority....so as to be democratic in today's America, lawmakers will have to make laws that benefit a majority that is made up of women, homosexuals, Blacks, Browns, and various other ethnic groups. The hand that hands out the money however, is still White....hence we have run into a wall.

My senator is awake, he is voting to sue the President of the U.S.A. for saving small business owners from possible fines in so far as the AHCA initiation. Congress was not going to approve a new date for the deadline. Hell no....rather see small business pay up and take down the President. Not sure I want these people awake, might be a good idea if they all fell asleep for a good long while.

"Are the senators from Republicans supposed to support the Democrats?"

No but they are supposed to compromise so as to accomplish something.

"Who are the majority in the House of Congress, and House of Representatives?"

Senate Dem....House Repub. However the Republicans pulled an old rule out of their asses regarding a vote of 60 and they are abusing the filibuster.
Denial isn't pretty. The party of "just say NO" came by that name honestly.

"Can you sue the President for inefficiency to delegate his Cabinet well to get things done? '

SERIOUSLY ? Have you forgotten how hard it was for him to appoint ANYONE to anything ? Selective memory seems to be another Right Wing issue.

You can TRY to sue the President but when you've blocked every appointment he has tried to make, when you've made complete fools of yourselves over any and every little thing he has done....up to and including his place of birth...you look like an asshat. You look like a party at play, rather than at work. You look like a party that gives two shits what the people want.... when are unable to compromise on gun control laws, immigration reform, student relief bills... when you compromise on NOTHING and do nothing but yammer on about the mistakes of the man in charge, you appear to be just exactly what you are, petulant children...sore losers.......incompetent fools...over paid bullies. But, I guess you can do absolutely nothing until he does it himself and then up and try to sue him for it.....it just looks to be what it is, blather that makes someone look just a big of a fool, as the dysfunctional party in question, when trying to defend such goings on.

When you've made a mockery of the man in charge to the point where you've also degraded the office he holds, you've rendered government useless....a conclusion that many American's have realized. The difference is that some know exactly where the problem lies and others continue to point at ONE person who has no control over the childish actions of others.

One can not compromise with someone who will not compromise.....I have learned this lesson....you either walk away or you do it on your own. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make someone work with you who is going to refuse. Shame on Obama for not changing human nature...for being Black....for being intelligent....for thinking that the "other" side would WANT to work things out.....for being disgusted by the childish crap going on in his government .....and then most importantly...for actually just DOING something. So sue me he says. Do you know how disgusted one is by the time they would say something like that ?

So sue him ! They look like idiots of the highest order.

State coffers ? I live in Wisconsin.....Scott Walker country. The first two laws he passed were Conceal Carry and a couple of prohibitive measures regarding abortion. He gave tax credits to businesses that promptly out sourced their jobs overseas and he refused Medicaid expansion. He also turned down the light rail system that was to run from Illinois thru Wis to Minn. We are the juggernaut in the middle now.

We are one of the lowest states in the country on job creation. He is a Right Wing groupie who hasn't done much of anything that I can see except make gun use easier and cause women a bunch of headaches should she want to exercise her right to so something that is her right under the federal law. As far as innovative ideas ? Nada !

Oh yeah...forgot....Walker ended collective bargaining for school teachers. Those overpaid, under worked, cry babies who tend to vote Democratic. Changed a bunch of voting laws as well....cut hours, ended weekend voting and closed a bunch of inner city DMV offices, so as to make obtaining an ID a pain in the rear for someone with out a car and plenty of fuel. A real go getter is Walker !
The party of less opportunity instead of more !
The party of "I have mine and screw you if it is impossible for you to get yours !" The only thing that is a big YES ? more guns and less restrictions as to where and when they can be used. Other wise the state of Wisconsin has been under a pretty big "No you can not and I will make laws to ensure that you won't" rule of thumb.

Are the senators from Republicans supposed to support the Democrats?

Given that Republican Senators and Congressmen have voted against their own bills more than once to prevent anything from being accomplished, that's an odd question to ask.

Historically, the parties would find things they could agree upon and pass bills that were in the interest of the country as a whole. This isn't happening now, as the right-wing in government has become increasingly intransigent and refuses to pass much of anything at all. And, to a certain extent, they seem to be acting like Lucy when she would hold the football for Charlie Brown. The two parties come up with a compromise, the Democrats start to move to get it passed, and then the Republicans pull the ball away and say they need more before they will pass anything. Do that often enough and it becomes clear that you're not really trying to compromise, and any deal that might be worked out isn't something you're actually going to follow through on.

Who are the majority in the House of Congress, and House of Representatives?

The House is currently controlled by Republicans. (Interesting bit of trivia: In 2012 more people overall voted for Democratic candidates for the House than voted for Republican candidates). The Senate is controlled by Democrats, although the filibuster rules in the Senate make passing anything very difficult

Can you sue the President for inefficiency to delegate his Cabinet well to get things done?

The way your question is phrased makes your intention somewhat opaque. Cabinet officers run agencies, and are appointed by the President, with the advice and consent of the Senate. Are you asking why Cabinet positions have gone unfilled? Are you thinking that the President hasn't given his Cabinet Secretaries instructions as to what to do? Do you think that Cabinet Secretaries can pass laws? What exactly are you asking here?

Who control the State's coffer?

Congress. See the U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 9, Clause 7.

Sorry about Scott Walker, Face. The test will be if he's reelected or not. Every state gets an embarrassing, harmful governor or three. Arizona had Ev Mecham, SC had Mark "hiking the Appalachian Trail" Sanford, etc...

Sadly, often the response to a complete failure of a cherished policy is to implement with even more money; beacuse 'this time for sure!'

Particularly when the few beneficiaries are quite willing to send money to see that those policies remain in place, and modern PR campaigns are very effective in getting people to vote against their interests (when they're allowed to vote at all...)

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/white-house-adviser-goes-ballistic-111329326.html

Is there some sense of satisfaction in watching a body of government hamstring a President and then complain because that same leader is not doing his job ? I am not at all sure how one goes about complaining about stuff not getting done when the reason for this is as clear as the nose on my face. Boehner did it best yesterday Wed and Thurs when he sued the guy for acting on his own and then told him to act on his own. Was it a dare ? At our expense ? ANYONE who still supports the Republican party should be ashamed of themselves.....there is no Republican party....there are two parties at war with each other and every one of us is paying the price. This war does not involve the Democrats at all.
