Hello... I don't know if this group will go anywhere. What do you think about adding the term "Restoration Movement" to the title (Stone-Campbell/Restoration Movement).

First, thanks for creating this group. I think it will take off, but even it's just a few that will still be useful.

I'm still learning -- haven't figured out how to "tag" yet -- but I'm just starting. I'm away from home now and haven't had much time this week to do anything with it.

I do think using the term "Restoration Movement" is a wise idea.

I haven't been on LibraryThing in a few days. What does the groups feature allow us to do?

ccotten... I think some of that is still in the discovery stage. I imagine they'll create new features as time goes by. I thought this one might be a place where a common interest could at least be shared.

I would like to hear how some of you are using LibraryThing: for church library, personal library, both, other?

I'm starting to put in our church library's items. This is so much easier than an excel spreadsheet! I also have a personal account.

I'm testing LibraryThing out with some of my personal books. If all goes well, we may use it to catalog the church library at my church (GracePointe Church of Christ).

I am putting our church library holdings on LT. Fortunately someone had created an Excel file with all the holdings, including in most cases the ISBN of each book. Importing that into our LT account was easy, but it has required some cleanup. I'm thinking/hoping it is going to be a useful resource for the church and others.

Well, I've now finished cataloguing our church library. Check out GracePointeChurch to see the results! Now we just need to get the spine labels done and reshelve the books.

By the way, one of the things I've tried to do is add lots of Restoration Movement Ebooks. Be sure to check out our Restoration Movement and Electronic Resources collections.
