I'm definitely going to do the ROOT challenge again. In 2014 I managed to ROOT 36 books. I've decided to up my total a little bit and see how that works for the new challenge. In 2015 I want to ROOT at least 40 books off my shelves.
Here's the new ticker.

I already have a pile of books I've decided to pull from to start off 2015. For my challenge any books added to my library up through December 31, 2014 will count. No new and shiny 2015 items are allowed. I'm hoping to use a good number of ROOTs for my 2015 Category Challenge.
Good luck everyone and Happy ROOTing!

2. Celebrating the Jewish Year: the Winter Holidays
I started this one in 2014 but put it on pause to finish my category challenge. It got carried over into the new year, so that means it counts as a ROOT.

4. Star Wars: Scoundrels
Set in between Episodes IV and V this book involves a high risk crime with the promise of a huge reward. Enough for Han to get Jabba off his back forever. But in order to succeed Han has to hire a team of experts and work with some very complicated people, people he's not sure he can trust.

>13 kkunker: This one seems worth tracking down if it's mainly about Han. I could never work up much enthusiasm for the Jedi, but scoundrels are fine.
15kkunker
It does focus on Han. It also explains some of his past with Lando and why they have friction in Empire. Plus its fun to read about how they go about planning the crime.
16kkunker
Finished another ROOT, so I'm ahead of schedule.

42kkunker
It's a fun collection of Tolkien's poetry which is available in a couple of places. Some poems are Middle Earth related and some are completely different from his typical themes. This version was published last year and has commentary and notes by Hammond and Scull. I also own the collection as part of the Tolkien Reader.
