Good luck!! Book buying problem? What's that? Certainly not receiving around 12 books over the holidays and then promptly buying about 6 more with gift cards. If that indicates a problem, then I'm in trouble. 😉

I have read my first ROOTS book.

1.Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death by M. C. Beaton

For: TBR Source: my shelf Anything Goes #1

This was a funny and easy going murder mystery. ***

I have discovered over the years that I prefer light murder mysteries that have a charm and humor.

>1 BBGirl55: Hello Bryony. I too have a book buying problem. :) *I* consider it a problem much less than my husband does, though...

>11 BBGirl55: congrats! sounds fun :)

>12 avanders: My husband does think so too! I just want him to collect something too so he might understand, but he does not. He collects sleep.

>13 connie53: Haha! That's a good thing to collect too, especially on the weekend.

>12 avanders: Yes, I consider my book buying less of a problem than my BF does. He looked VERY skeptical when I told him I needed another bookcase.

>14 rabbitprincess: I don't even try to bring up another bookcase! We have no free walls in the house to place one!

2.Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

For: TBR Source: Kindle Only Sixteen #1

I loved this book. It was funny, quirky and very to the point every word was there for a reason. just Awesome! *****

>13 connie53: lol I wouldn't mind collecting sleep... if there were many more hours in the day, that is ;)

>14 rabbitprincess: oh the skepticism! ;) Sometimes another bookcase is just the thing....

>15 connie53: I'm limited to my book nook... I think I actually *could* fit another bookshelf in there, if I need to... I mean, when I need to....

>16 BBGirl55: we've hijacked your thread ;)
Thanks for the review! Sounds fun .. I've heard of that and been curious about it :)

#12 I don't think it is that much of a problem, my mum did until I showed her how many more bookz I had on my Kindle.

#13 Sleep is a very rare comodity for me. I like sleep when I get some.

#14 Bookcases are a nessesity!

#15 there is always room. I have a friend that made a bookcase out off her stairs, her boyfriend made them she filled them.

#17 hijack away! Fangirl was a very quick read you should try it!

4.Saga Volume 4 by Brian K. Vaughan

For: TBR Source: My shelf Colour My World #1

For time readers of my Tread know that I love Vaughan and I love this series. This rather graphic, always funny and heart wrenching story takes yet another turn and left me with many questions. Comic and Graphic Novel fans if you are not reading Saga start now! *****

5.Buffy the Vampire Slayer New Rules by Christos Gage

For: TBR Source: My shelf Colour My World #2

I'm starting early with the Buffy this year. And Season Ten has started well. The writer and artist that did the Angel and Faith run for Season 9 have moved to the Buffy Title and are working their magic, and i mean literately giving our Characters the Power to rewrite magic. Well written and the art is a delight.****1/2
