Oddly enough, the Touchstone will show up correctly (to the right of the text box), whether plain method or force-method. It will also link correctly in the message Preview, but not the actual post.

ETA: re-reading the bug posted in http://www.librarything.com/topic/186711#5014726, y'all already knew that!
