In Minneapolis with Eddi McCandry and various supernatural beings in War for the Oaks by Emma Bull, which somehow I missed reading all these years. So far, so good.

Mostly in Terre d'Ange and environs with Kushiel's Avatar.

I'm also spending a bit of time in ancient Ethiopia, trying to remember whether I've already read The Empty Kingdom or not. I think not, but my copy has some dog-eared pages in the beginning that make me think I've been down this road before.

>4 rshart3:, I've tagged that one myself as a must-visit-someday (alongside similar titles, at least in my mind, like Little, Big and Mythago Wood). Congrats on getting to it.

>5 Niko:, you seem to be developing a theme in your reading.

Cecrow: Heh, ancient China, ancient Ethiopia, yeah. :) It's mostly coincidental... I've chosen the last few reads entirely on what had been on my TBR list the longest... :)

I'm in the warm, green Chalk country of Terry Pratchett's Discworld with Wee Free Men. This is my first Discworld novel.

I'm a bit scattered lately, spending time on Orthe as well (Ancient Light group read here if anyone's interested), but also spending time in Emelan subject to The Will of the Empress (going better than Battle Magic so far), just boarding the Elthoria in Balance of Trade (can't decide if this is a re-read or not but enjoying spending time with someone other than Clan Korval in this universe), and in the Emperor's palace with a Forger trying to fix The Emperor's Soul (my first Sanderson- interesting so far, but I'm finding the underpinnings of magic system distractingly inconsistent).

>14 nhlsecord: The touchstone for "Knight's Shadow" points to The Bookseller of Kabul by Åsne Seierstad. There doesn't appear to be a touchstone for your book under that title.

Sorry Group.

I thought I was posting to a tribute to Sir Terry. I tried to delete my message but...
I guess it doesn't matter where I post my tribute.
