"Even the ludicrous parts of the story have serious consequences. In an unresolved 2012 complaint of misconduct by the Wisconsin Judicial Commission against Justice David T. Prosser, Jr., one count involves his “tendency towards a lack of proper decorum and civility by telling the Chief Justice”—then Abrahamson—“in the presence of other Justices, that ‘you are a total bitch.’ ” The other count involved Prosser putting his hands around the neck of Justice Ann Walsh Bradley. (The complaint quotes her as saying that he “put his hands around my neck, holding my neck as though he were going to choke me.”)"
Couple of years back, when Mr. Walker was shoving his abortion restriction laws through, the female lawmakers of this state were not allowed to speak on the floor of the house. They were shouted down until they left the premise.
In some respects we can all agree that men are men and as such they tend to deal with stress and frustration differently than women but, it seems to me there is a rise in aggression against women lately. I had thought most of it was evidenced by the rash of laws trying to restrict a woman's personhood but it seems that in Wisconsin things have reached a higher pitch. It also appears to me that the acts against women are more likely to be perpetrated by Republicans than Democrats. Is there any sane reason why this may be the case ?
If things in my good old backwoods state of Wisconsin were doing so much better than the in past decades of being a primarily Blue state, I would have to pause, take some time to consider just what it was that kept us from seeing the light for so long. We are a higher tax state but we had a good reputation in so far as education and decent jobs. People came to Wis. to send kids to school. (given the reputation of our weather I have to think it may have been the biggest reason) Since Walker's reign we have been on a steady decline. Our education system is suffering, our healthcare costs are 99 to 136% more expensive than Minnesota. We said no to the light rail from Ill. to Minn. and our teachers union is toast.
And now this attack on women.....I live in a Republican county.....women have been treated poorly by the judicial system long before this but this IS the judicial system.

Surprise !!!! Surprise !!!
I believe it is called "trickle down". I hope Walker's bid for Presidency trickle's down the drain. Not sure how the party could run him without completely ignoring everything he has done since elected governor of Wisconsin. Of course those who voted for him are still driving around in their rust buckets, where the only thing holding the auto together is the "I Stand With Walker" stickers, thinking that they took a stand against that bad man in the White House.

What 'trickles down' in the real world (as opposed to theories) generally isn't money, although it is liquid...

Because Walker is dangerous and nobody is paying much attention to what he is doing......his claim to fame for the Republican base ? Breaking up the Unions. That is a far as the little brains go.
