searching by date last modified

Is there a field for the date last modified of a book record in my library?

In sum, is it possible to find all the works in my library that I have added or edited after a certain date?

How?

It does not.

I've been putting a last edited date in Private Comments, but it's not particularly useful for sorting, unless it's the very first line in the field.
