Read about 5 years ago. Can't remember character names and it's driving me crazy. Basic story line: A married couple, the wife is not sure if her husband loves her or not. The main event I remember is when the husband is away the wife is grabbed after work in the carpark and molested in a van while someone took photos. She is not hurt. The husband comes home early and catches her when she is upset and in the shower. She explains what happened or he sees the bruises. Then a woman rings and threatens to blackmail the wife and send the photos to the husband and claim that she is cheating. The husband listens in on the phone call and tells the woman to destroy the photos or he will sic his lawyer on her. I only remember this one scene vividly and nothing else. I would love it if someone can help me out with the name of this book. Pretty sure it was a Mills and Boon or Harlequin.

I think this looks like one of Helen Bianchin’s books.

Thanks! A lot of Helen Bianchin's books do have a similar premise but I still can't seem to find the exact one I read.

Helen Bianchin's "An Ideal Marriage" has a scene like this:

The rear door was wrenched open. 'Get in.'
He was going to kidnap her? Images flashed through her brain, none of which were reassuring. Dammit, she wasn't going meekly. 'No.'
'Listen, sweetheart,' the voice whispered coldly against her ear. 'We don't want anything except a few photos.'
'We'. So there was more than one. It narrowed her chances considerably.
'Now, you can co-operate and make it easy on yourself, or you can fight and get hurt.'
Hands pushed her unceremoniously onto the rear seat, and she gasped out loud as he came down on lop of her.
'Get off me!'
Hands found her blouse and ripped it open. Gabbi fought like a wildcat, only to cry out in pain as first one wrist was caught, then the other, and they were held together in a merciless grip. She felt a savage tug as her bra was dragged down, and she twisted her head in a desperate bid to escape his mouth.
Her strength didn't match his, and an outraged growl sounded low in her throat as he ground his teeth against her lips.
Lights flashed as she twisted against him, and when he freed her hands she reached for his head, raking her nails against his scalp and down the side of his neck.

One of them took pics then the ex of the hero calls to blackmail heroine but hero is home and listens in on the conversation and tells ex that he'll be by to get the pics and ex better leave town afterwards.

Hi,

Trying to recollect the books name in which the heroine is an author who has a son (I think around 8yrs) she writes under a male pen name. They meet after gab of years at the heroes hotel when she comes to collect an award .The hero does not about the son. The heroine's mother dies in bomb blast in India
