Clicking on various statuses in the Take Inventory feature should show you a list of books with that status, i.e. clicking "Present" shows you just the books that have been marked present, and so on. Clicking "Unmarked" is showing all books, regardless of status.
To replicate:
1. Go to Your Books.
2. Select Take Inventory.
3. Mark at least one book "Present" and one "Absent."
4. Click "Unmarked" just below the Take inventory search/mark bar.
5. This should show you a list of all your books, regardless of status.
It's also worth noting that the number of items showing as Unmarked in parentheses is correct.
Initially discovered here.

I'm hoping this will get fixed soon. In the meantime, I've got another interesting tidbit of information to add to this bug.
If, after selecting "Unmarked" in Take Inventory mode as outlined above, you turn off Take Inventory and head back to List view, an "Unmarked" filter will show up at the top of my my library, as though I'd done a search for it or something. The text reads "Inventory: Unmarked (x)"
Still, it doesn't actually affect which books are being displayed. I'm not surprised this part of it isn't working either, just wanted to mention.

Bumping this one, as it's so old that we created a (now closed) duplicate of it: http://www.librarything.com/topic/204794

lorax notes that this pertains to the "inventory" feature released in June, laughs.

bump - will be useful for TinyCat.

Bump - trying to use this feature to get my library up to date. Got rid of quite a few books, can't easily review the 200+ books listed as unmarked to see which ones are actually present and which should be deleted.

Just ran into this. Any progress?
