Both her novels ('Hackenfeller's Ape', 'The King of a Rainy Country', 'The Finishing Touch', 'Flesh' 'In Transit') and her non-fiction ('Black Ship to Hell', 'Prancing Novelist', 'Baroque & Roll', 'Reads') repay consideration.
