Yesterday I finished The Grass is Singing (paper/ebook) and The Heart of the Matter. I've picked up the second volume of The Story of the Stone, The Crab-Flower Club. Oops, these really do need to be read all together -- volume two begins with Chapter 27 and clearly in the middle of am episode. I'll have to do a refresher on the first volume.

I'm reading Foucault's Pendulum. I'm enjoying it and it is challenging my brain.

Planning to read Midaq Alley for the group read. Also have The Brothers Karamozov and Bleak House coming up if I can fit them in.

I'm listening to Emma, and have finally started reading last month's group read, Silence.
ETA: I'm also about three quarters of the way through Evelina, but have put it aside to finish after my audiobook is done. I'm good with reading several books at the same time, but when they get too close in genre, I get details muddled. :-)

Reading Midaq Alley which is lovely and very different from anything I've read recently. On audio I'm listening to Everything that Rises Must Converge for my personal 2015 challenge.

I am also reading and enjoying Midaq Alley. Still reading The Sea of Fertility, which has turned a bit into a fight and goes slowly at the moment. Next will be The Driver's Seat and Stechlin, but I am also planning to read some Booker nominees, so not sure if I will be able to finish them all this month.

Just finished off Of Human Bondage and am close to finishing Midnight's Children. I'm also working my way through Bonfire of the Vanities and Lucky Jim. For the rest of the month I've got plans to read #8 in the Dance to the Music of Time series (The Soldier's Art), The Robber Bride, At The Mountains of Madness, Oscar and Lucinda and our group read Midaq Alley.

I polished off a couple short ones recently, The Little Prince and The Fox. I'm still listening to Parade's End. Hours into it I'm finally getting used to the choppy narrative. I'm also plodding away with White Noise and have just gotten into the section with the black cloud looming (literally and figuratively) so my pace should pick up a bit.

I have now finished Foucault's Pendulum. Wow, there is a lot to absorb in that book but it moves along really quickly and I never felt overwhelmed.

I'm working on The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and finding it surprisingly enjoyable.

#11, LOL on the wooden leg.
I just finished an online tutorial for the coding language "R" and guess what, it was all about pirates! Seriously. I'm a humanist so it was good to know that computer people share a sense of humor.
On paper I am beginning Rabbit, Run for my personal challenge. My audio listening has subsided a lot since I started teaching my youngest child to drive: can't have a book on and distract her while she practices.

I've been away from LT for the last couple of weeks but finished The count of Monte Cristo, Cider with Rosie and The Idiot. Next on the tbr pile is The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.

#14, I can only envy you your first reading of The Prime. You should watch the film too, they are both brilliant but interestingly different.
