hi, here in Spain they're no publishing modern horror apart from King and zombies, so I have no idea about new authors from the 90's on, my question is, are there some interesting authors in the vein of Stephen King nowadays? could you recommend me some of them?

Joe Hill.

Who is Stephen King's son but who has earned a good reputation on his own merits.

You might like Laird Barron. Thomas Ligotti is also excellent, although not very Stephen King-esque.

You should definitely check out Ruby Jean Jensen. She had 20 books published by Zebra in the 1980s and 1990s, sold more than 2M books. She was on the charts at the same time as Stephen King. Although a few vintage books are available at high prices, her family has started re-publishing. Ruby Jean books 'MaMa', 'Annabelle', and 'Victoria' are now available, with one other book being released each month.
