So I book that I've previously read popped into my head today and I want to read it again, but I can't remember the title!!
It's a romance novel, in the beginning a woman is at her brother's wedding and she sees a man and she's intrigued by him but she's already in a relationship so nothing happens.
She ends up marrying her boyfriend and they live a ways from her family... Her husband ends up very controlling and manipulative, he wants to have kids but she's unsure so she's sneaking her birth control pills, every time she gets her period he becomes verbally/physically abusive. One day he finds her pills and he beats her very badly and puts her out of their apartment.
She walks barefoot a grocery store and calls her brother where her brother comes and picks her up. She leaves her husband and moves back to her hometown and begins working at a company and meets the man she saw from her brother's wedding. They begin a relationship... the details become rocky after that but I do know that the husband comes back to find her and beats her again and the new man finds them and saves the day...
Does anyone possibly know the book? I want to say it's a well known romance novel author but I can't quite remember.
Thanks in advance!

I am trying to figure out the name of a book, I believe it may have been released early last year (but not sure). The book was about a woman going through some major life changes, including her marriage failing. at some point she ends up going with her friend to this tarot/fortune reading, the main characters reading predicted her marriage would end, etc. She was extremely septic & didnt believe her reading until things started coming true. she then goes and seeks out the psyic for guidance. I know I originally stumbled upon it from post on facebook. link allowed you to listen to first 3 chapters. I have googled and searched every where and cant find anything close.. its may not sound to interesting by my description but it actually was very alluring.
