The book begins with a young woman at or near a bra burning group of people in the womans rights movement. Something happens and she wakes up on a planet that is ruled by large woman who have completely enslaved their men. The young woman ends up being named Little Amazon (I think). The amzon planet gets visited by men from a male dominated planet and a war insues. One of the main men see the 'Little Amazon' and takes a liking to her. He ends up capturing her and taking her to his home to add her to his harem of war conquests. eventually on in the story the man somehow figures out that she is his true mate.
I read it about 10 yrs back.

Since you remembered the word black and I recalled that Jaid Black writes books about giant alien warrior men, I looked at her books, and I think the book you're looking for is Enslaved. One review says: "Marty is a child of the 60's who in finds herself on an alien planet, bonds with the female warriors there and then is captured by a fearsome male warrior."
