Lots of interesting categories for me to keep an eye on to see what they get filled up with. Good luck with your challenge!

Keeping it comfortable but still challenging yourself is the best way to go, IMHO! Have a great year!

>36 bookwormjules: and >38 VictoriaPL: I think Gillian Flynn has only gotten better with each thing she writes so I rank them 1) Gone Girl, 2) Dark Places, and 3) Sharp Objects. I haven't read The Grownup yet though.

I've been told Sharp Objects is very dark and twisted, more so than Dark Places - so looking forward to finding out which book is better. The Grownup is her newest one, but the description doesn't grab me, but I will still read it.

>41 bookwormjules: I loved The Shipping News, and really liked her writing. I've never tried anything else by her though, although I did mean to.

>41 bookwormjules:
Her writing has such a lovely cadence to it that I actively go after audio versions before paper versions of her books.
