I just remember that the historical romance book is about a heroine disguised as a boy on a ship. During a bad thunderstorm, the heroine helps the hero with the mast/wooden pole and during this endeavor, the storm blows the wooden pole against the heroine causing her to be pushed up against the hero. Thus, he feels that her body is feminine and possibly sees the cloth wrapped around her torso. He begins to realize she is female, but he did experience some feelings toward her when he thought she was male.

Her heart trample and torn Georgina Anderson was desperate to return home to america leaving her Sorrows on Englands Shores. She Defiantly Boarded the Maiden Anne Disguised as a cabin boy - Never dreaming she'd be forced into Intimate servitude to the Irrepressible rake Captain James Malory
A handsome ex-Pirate the black sheep of a proud and tempestouse family Malory swore no women alive would entive him into matrimony. But in the high seas he would be bested by a high spritred beauty whose love of freedom and adventure rivaled his own

Please help! Just started reading Gentle Rogue By Johanna Lindsey because of this post. Was very excited to read about that exact scene during the storm where the hero discovers the heroine is a woman because he feels her feminine features. And just in general really wanting to read a historical romance about a heroine disguised as a boy on a ship, but with a BIG REVEAL scene i.e hero doesn’t know the heroine is a girl until the big reveal scene. Hence, I know for certain Gentle Rogue is not the book the original poster was looking for, because the hero in Gentle Rogue already figured out the heroine is a girl before they even board the ship, and lets her pretend to be a boy because he finds it amusing and wants to eventually win her to his bed. No big reveal in this book. So please I know this post is like 6 years old, but to the original poster or whoever if you know what the book was for the original post with that lovely storm scene - I will be so very grateful. I am dying to read it now!

I can't remember how the big reveal happened, but at least the captain does not now that the man he kidnaps is really a woman.
