I've been thinking about two political figures who have a lot of parallels and shared a very strong progressive stance. How many resemblances can we find between these two?

Interesting that you chose Lyndon Johnson, a wily politician if every there was one, and Hillary C., who is a bit of a bungler. I tend to think of HC as an apparatchik (sp?), much like Jimmy Carter. The two of them very much into details and not that personable. Though things may be different with respect to being able to work with others. Carter was severely hampered by his outsider status in Washington DC, even to the point that his own party did not work with him.
