This book was a short read so I think it was a prequel. Basically girl found best friend (Melissa I think) sleeping with fiancé right before the wedding. Girl then run onto beach, sleeps with stranger and then runs away to New York to start new job. Mother is in rehab and fiancé was paying bills.Any clue?
