I would like to enter the table of contents in the common knowledge filed "Description" (--> "Book description").
But regrettably the content is not searchable in my library or anywhere else.
When I write the table of contents in to the field "commtens" I can search for them in my library.

As a matter of course I want to find the table of contents in my library.
Are there any further plans to make the fields "common knowledge" searchable ??

(Sorry for my bad english)

I thought I had seen a response to this indicating that contents could be listed in the comments field. Perhaps it was a slightly different topic heading.

I think the comments field is not automatically searched with the default 'all' search, so to effect a search of comments too, one needs to type in the search box:

all:"xxx". (whether xxx is one word or more)

I would not put tables of contents in common knowledge fields because common knowledge is at the work level and tables of contents are at the edition level. Tables of contents have definitely been discussed before but it would be inappropriate to list the same contents for two editions that have different introductions, etc. You are better off putting this information in your own comments field, which can be searched.
