What would be useful, if possible, is a list of still untranslated parts of the website. This could perhaps be a list on each llanguage's translation statistics page?

It's a good idea indeed. But then again a warning : contextuality is vital. Out of context translations are no good.

I have been working on the "maniacs" list now, to translate the left-over snippets for the German page. A lot of what is left cannot be translated properly without knowing the exact context. Tim, is there a way to link back to the place of origin for every snippet on that list?
I have been using Google to find them but haven't been always successful, for example "make it!" or "inline".

Ah, those are from the widgets page (here). In theory, I could find the page, although they are often on more than one page or--in the case of the widgets themelves, or of RSS--not really on a "page" at all.
