I am looking for a book title, I read this book in French, cannot remember if it is orginally written in French or it was a translation. All that I remember is that a man takes in a young girl, and tells her that she is ugly or her face is deformed, girl grows up without mirrors, not even her reflection, he conviences her that she is ugly and he is pittying her by taking her to live with him. She fell in love with him, one day she gets injured and a nurse comes and she sees her and how beautiful she is, nurse tries to convience herabout her beauty. I also remember the story had two endings, and you chould choose the ending. HELP ME PLEASE

This is without a doubt Mercure by Amélie Nothomb. Everything fits, but the choose your own ending settles it.
