Virago Author of the Month: Nominations for Jul, Aug, Sep

Once again it's time to vote for the authors for three more monthly reads.

You can nominate up to four names and in addition also second up to four authors who have been nominated by others. So it's worth coming back after nominating to see if authors have been added whom you'd like to second!

Any author who is seconded will then be included in a subsequent Voting thread where we each chose up to two authors from the list. The author with the most votes will be July's Virago Author of the Month, second place will be August's and third will be September's. If there's a tie which affects which of our authors will be read, we'll have another vote. If the tie only affects order of reading, I'll make an executive decision 😉.

For criteria, I'm thinking any author who has had at least one book published as a Virago Modern Classic.

The deadline for nominating and seconding will be Midnight British time on Sunday 28th May.
