Hi all! New here... and what a great resource this is!
I'm wracking my mind... I've read a book that has:
A rich man and a not-so-rich girl meet on a boat
Boat is owned by the man (not known to anyone but himself and the captain)
Man is seen as stuck up and full of himself
The girl sleeps below with the rest of the people, but the man is above in his own room
The girl falls sick and stays with the man in his room
They go their separate ways but tell their friends (family?) about each other
They meet up again in the future
I believe it ends with them telling each other of their love for each other, etc etc etc
Thanks in advance!!

Darcy's voyage maybe? It's a Pride and Prejudice retelling on the high seas. Elizabeth falls ill down in the lower decks, and Darcy tends to her in his nice cabin (it's been a while, details are fuzzy) and I think he owns the boat on the down low. He avoids the other passengers, especially predatory single ladies and their mamas. There may be a secret marriage of convenience to protect their reputations, a separation after the voyage, and a joyous reunion back home in England.
