As Kristen noted, it's here, and smaller than last year's at only 74 books. How many have you read?

I’ve only read two unfortunately. Lincoln in the Bardo Saunders and Night Ocean by La Farge

I've only read the Saunders and Schweblin, but I'm excited to read so many of these! It was also great to see that Overdrive has nearly all of the one's I'm interested in available as audiobooks. I'm ready for the shortlist, but will have plenty of others that don't make it that far to dive into after the tournament.

Just saw this! Man. Must be close to shortlist time now! I've done better going in this year than last year - I've got The Changeling, The Dark Dark, Her Body and Other Parties, The Pearl Thief, Seven Surrenders, The Seventh Function of Language, Son of a Trickster... I'm really excited Six Four is on there, it's one I've pushed on people a lot this year. I'm about to read Release next. I have a feeling most of these won't be moving over to the short list, but it's still a better showing than last year, certainly. ^_^

Yea! I'm excited that I've actually read five of them already with three on the shelves at home ready to be read. Could not get Savage Theories all from my library and Stephen Florida is only available on audio right now. Maybe I'll eventually buy them but right now I'll probably have to pass on those two.

Read (in order of preference)
Pachinko
Lincoln in the Bardo
Exit West
Goodbye Vitamin
Sing, Unburied, Sing

On Shelf
The Animators
Manhattan Beach
Fever Dream

Waiting on my library holds for the rest to come in during the next week or so.

I read Stephen Florida and I wasn't a fan. It wasn't bad, but it was a lot about a self-absorbed, isolated angry young white guy who noticed bodily fluids a lot. Maybe see if it emerges from the play-in round?
