I've had a yellow banner on every page for a month now with fake news about LT going down. I will be removing my data from the site.

MarthaJeanne uses the old design. There’s a bug that has that banner always up if you use that.

Oh, my, I can only imagine how annoying that is. It's terrible you are leaving over something like that--is there no remedy? I vaguely remember they said they would discontinue support for the old design but surely this yellow banner can be removed?

I expect you have contacted LT with this, it's so unfortunate this has happened during the holidays--actually, even today is a day off in the USA. I hope you get to communicate with Tim or whoever can help before leaving.

I reported it as a bug a month ago. It was marked deferred by staff.

Basically, I still feel like I've been under attack for the past month. I don't feel like this is a safe place for me any more.

I'm certainly going ahead with the attempt to find an alternative way to track my books. The alternative would have the big advantage of being available off-line. Like in book stores!

For what it's worth, this is an easy group to administer. I set it up. I greeted an encouraged a few people in the beginning. Other than that, I have just kept my thread going.

I haven't had much direct interaction with you but I'll miss you in the fora...
