Hi! I'm desperately trying to remember the name of a book that was part of a 3-book series (I think). When I was young, maybe around 10 or so, there was a book series that my cousin's and I loved and can't remember! It was lesser known, involved two sisters (maybe twins?). What we remember is that the cover of the book was a house, that had a female's face that took up the size of the house and had fire for hair. It was about a young girl who slept-walked off a balcony and died and I think haunted the house. It was definitely a spooky book, not for the super young crowd, but more of the tween age. What I remember most is the cover. The sister's may have been babysitting in the house but I can't totally remember. And no, I'm not thinking of the babysitter's club or nancy drew or any of those super well-known books.

HELP!! It's driving me crazy that I cant' find this book!! Thanks!!

-Megan

Was it a pretty thick book? And can you remember anything else about the cover or plot line?

We don't know when you were 10ish, you need to give us a year range that you might have read the series. Were the books newly published at the time you read it or maybe a little older (like 3-5 yrs or 5-7 yrs)? Do you remember any other scenes or settings?

>1 MeganFreckles: The balcony death scene with haunting vaguely reminds me of Remember Me (1989), but that book was geared for older teens and young adults. Siblings involved a good portion of the plot, but no babysitting as I can recall.
