Allegedly, President Donald Trump was asked recently if he believed in God. His reply ran along the lines of: “I am eating this meal and I have to assume that someone, somewhere, prepared it all.” Which is a very good reply.
Did he mean; all the ingredients needed were knocking about somewhere and some clever persons collected them, mixed them together and prepared something that suited the customers and they found it easy to swallow?
As good a description of the gospels as I’ve ever come across.
